What is this Workshop about?
This one-day workshop invites you to step out of the stream of thoughts and sink into the stillness of the present moment. From an inner space of silence, we let go of what distracts us in everyday life from simply being present — with an open heart and in the flow of life.
We begin with playful exercises to help you move from the head into the body, let go, and arrive fully in the here and now.
From there, we gradually sink step by step into meditation. We explore energy, body, mind, feelings, and the deep beliefs by which our lives are often unconsciously shaped. Together, we discover how to train our awareness in order to bring more harmony and openness to these different levels — and in this way develop greater sensitivity to life, while allowing space for stillness, peace, and love to arise within us.
Towards the end, we move into the heart and into our connection with ourselves and with others. We explore how meditation can deepen and transform these connections.
Experience a day that brings you back to what you truly are: free, loving, and fully alive in the present moment.

Om began his meditation journey 10 years ago in a buddhist monastery in Sri Lanka. Ever since, he has participated in numerous retreats with different spiritual masters to deepen his practice and understanding. For the past five years, he has lived in the Open Sky House community and found his teacher in John David.

Hitdorf is located between Cologne and Düsseldorf.
